Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Koyn (the “Service”), operated by Techiebutler Technologies Private Limited(“Koyn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), available at koyn.techiebutler.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Koyn is a subscription and invoice intelligence platform that helps teams collect invoices and receipts from connected email accounts, extract their details using OCR/AI, match them to bank transactions, and track subscriptions and renewals. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Koyn. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. If you use Koyn on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

You agree not to:

• use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others;
• upload or connect data you are not authorized to access or share;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• use the Service to build a competing product, or resell it, without our written consent;
• introduce malware, or interfere with other users’ use of the Service.

Koyn lets you connect third-party services such as Google (Gmail), Microsoft (Outlook), and Telegram. When you connect an account, you authorize Koyn to access the data described in our Privacy Policy for the purpose of providing the Service. You are responsible for having the right to connect those accounts, and your use of each third-party service remains subject to that provider’s own terms. You may disconnect a connected account at any time.

You retain all rights to the invoices, documents, financial records, and other content you provide or that Koyn captures on your behalf (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the legality of Your Content and for maintaining your own backups where appropriate.

Some features of Koyn may be offered free of charge and others as part of a paid plan. Any applicable fees, billing terms, and renewal conditions will be disclosed to you before you subscribe. Unless stated otherwise, paid amounts are non-refundable except where required by law.

The Service — including its software, design, logos, and content we provide — is owned by Techiebutler Technologies Private Limited and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding except as necessary to use the Service.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Koyn assists with invoice capture, extraction, and reconciliation, but does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing extracted and matched data before relying on it. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that automated extraction and matching will be fully accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techiebutler Technologies Private Limited and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim (or, if you paid nothing, INR 5,000).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Techiebutler Technologies Private Limited from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

You may stop using Koyn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us, or as required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Koyn after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
